Day Three Costa Rica

I think I am beginning to get this lifestyle. This morning was the first super sunny morning. I went outside and walked around the yard. I took Mouse with me on my shoulder and then put him down to explore. I think he liked  it. He was so cute he followed me around. Brian is downstairs watching Sunday football. I keep hearing loud booms, from outside, but have no idea what they are or where they are coming from. They sound like cannons going off. Perhaps there is a soccer match or something. I am bored sitting in the house, but feel I have no alternative for the time being since I have no transportation, can't speak Spanish, and don't know my way around. So, here I sit. Lame.

Getting Packed--Flight Leaves October 28th

Escazú, officially San Miguel de Escazú, is the capital city of the canton of Escazú in the province of San José in Costa Rica. It is also the name of the district that includes the city, a subnational entity with 14,815 inhabitants and it will be home base for my husband, cats, and I for the next year, or so while we explore Central and South America.

Before our visit to Costa Rica we need to pack up and store, or sell everything with the exception of 3 cats and the clothes we are taking on our trip. This may not be the best way to start my blog, but it is the one thing that is dominating my thoughts...well, that and the phrase "5' x 8' storage space". I hope it has a 20 foot ceiling because there is no way our belongings are going to fit into a 5' x 8' space!
